EA Benelux launches www.sporegalaxy.nl, an interactive journey through millions of player created Spore objects.

The website can also be seen in other languages, English being one of them. It's not the same website as www.sporegalaxy.com by the way. This one has nothing to do with Robot Chicken.

Schiphol-rijk - 29 juni 2009 - Today EA Benelux launches www.sporegalaxy.nl ; a website where visitors can make an interactive journey through a universe of millions of creations by Spore players. The website is being launched as an addition to the expansion pack Galactic Adventures in which players can use the available objects to create own missions and adventures.

Sporegalaxy.nl uses the so-called tagging or labeling functionality of Spore and Sporepedia. Players can tag their creations such as creatures, vehicles and buildings in Spore. Sporegalaxy.nl searches these tags and projects creations with matching tags in a virtual solar system. This way the visitor can travel by the Spore creations in a fun, interactive way.

Right now Spore contains over 105 million creations, which can be downloaded through sporegalaxy.nl to be used in the game. With the launch of the expansion pack the website can also be used to find player created adventures.

Spore Galactic Adventures is available for pc and MAC® and is rated for 12 years and older by PEGI. As expansion pack the original Spore game is required to play Spore Galactic Adventures.
